On 7 October 2009, the Minister for Planning launched the Precinct Structure Planning Guidelines.
These Guidelines replace the draft 2006 version, and provide a simple tool for designing and delivering better quality communities on greenfield sites faster. They set out the key objectives of growth area planning, and a step by step guide explaining how these objectives will be achieved.
