Point Cook will be home to a new residential development on 300 hectares bringing up to 10,000 people into the area. The new community is expected to support a small supermarket, primary school and local sports ground.

Werribee Technology Precinct, east of the Werribee town centre, is a campus-style centre integrating research, teaching and public institutions. Substantial opportunities are offered at this gateway entrance to Werribee for research and development activity.
Werribee West is a large area of more than 1,000 hectares set aside for future residential development.
